About the role
The Head of Regulatory Affairs will lead the Regulatory Affairs Department of a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer in Karachi. This senior position is responsible for steering all regulatory activities to ensure product compliance and timely market entry.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute regulatory strategies for new and existing products.
- Oversee preparation and submission of dossiers to local and international health authorities.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of regulatory guidelines and ensure company compliance.
- Lead, mentor and manage the regulatory affairs team.
- Coordinate with R&D, manufacturing, and marketing to align regulatory requirements with business objectives.
- Represent the company in meetings with regulatory agencies.
Required profile
- Pharmacist (B‑Pharm, Pharm‑D or MSc) from a reputable university.
- 8–10 years of experience in a reputable pharmaceutical company.
- At least 2 years as Manager Regulatory Affairs or 4–5 years as Deputy Manager Regulatory Affairs.
Required skills
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Strong computer skills.
