Head of Reporting – Finance & Regulatory

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Head of Reporting to lead the financial and regulatory reporting function for our client in Karachi. This senior leadership position ensures accurate, complete and timely delivery of all reporting outputs, from management accounts to board packs and regulatory submissions across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee internal and external financial reports for all client mandates.
• Manage regulatory submissions for DIFC, ADGM, FCA, MAS and other jurisdictions.
• Design and deliver monthly management accounts, board packs and KPI dashboards.
• Lead group consolidation across multiple jurisdictions with zero reconciliation gaps.
• Identify and implement automation and process‑improvement initiatives.
• Liaise with external auditors and support internal audit reviews.
• Mentor and develop a high‑performing reporting team.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Professional qualification – ACCA, CIMA, CA or CFA (mandatory).
• 12–15 years of progressive experience in financial reporting, including at least 3 years in a senior reporting leadership role.
• Deep expertise in IFRS and group consolidation.
• Knowledge of multi‑jurisdictional regulatory frameworks (DIFC, ADGM, FCA, MAS).
• Big Four experience is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP and QuickBooks.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Power BI for dashboarding and reporting.
• Strong understanding of IFRS standards.
• Experience with group consolidation processes.
