Head of Services (Transaction Banking) – Director level

About the role

This senior position leads Citi's Services (Transaction Banking) business in Pakistan, shaping market strategy, driving revenue growth and overseeing client relationships across financial institutions, public sector, corporate and commercial segments.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute short‑ and long‑term Services strategy for Pakistan, aligned with regional and global objectives.
• Deliver revenue, EBIT and expense targets while overseeing sales, product, operations and technology teams.
• Lead digital transformation and innovation initiatives in response to market dynamics and regulatory priorities.
• Maintain full responsibility for product, operational, conduct and compliance risk management, ensuring adherence to State Bank of Pakistan regulations.
• Build and lead a high‑performing, diverse Services team, driving talent strategy and succession planning.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in financial services, with at least 10 years in senior managerial roles.
• Proven track record of leading country‑level or cluster‑level business strategy and delivering financial results.
• Strong risk and governance experience, especially in emerging market regulatory environments.
• Executive‑level communication skills and fluency in English.
