Head of Transformation & Continuous Improvement

About the role

The Head of Transformation & Continuous Improvement leads the One GBSC transformation programme for the Finance & Accounting Global Business Service Centre. Reporting directly to the VP of Finance and Accounting, this senior leader translates strategic intent into measurable outcomes across all finance process towers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of the One GBSC transformation programme, including People Squad and Build Stream pillars.
• Own the programme governance framework – milestones, risk registers, RAID logs, and executive reporting.
• Manage inter‑dependencies across workstreams to ensure coherent, joined‑up delivery.
• Prepare and present programme updates to senior stakeholders, including the VP and US‑based leadership.
• Drive a structured continuous‑improvement agenda across P2P, O2C, R2R and other finance towers using Lean, Six Sigma or equivalent methodologies.
• Identify, scope and prioritise improvement opportunities based on data, stakeholder input and strategic priorities.
• Establish and embed SOP governance across all towers, maintaining consistent documentation standards.

Required profile

• Senior leadership experience with a proven ability to make independent, intellectually rigorous decisions.
• Demonstrated track record of leading large‑scale transformation or continuous‑improvement programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing senior executives.
