Health & Safety Executive (Head Office)

About the role

The Health & Safety Executive will lead occupational health and safety across all CCI Pakistan manufacturing plants. Reporting to senior management, you will develop, implement and continuously improve H&S systems to ensure a safe, compliant work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and chair Occupational Health and Safety committee meetings, presenting analysis and recommendations.
• Lead H&S projects and cultural programs (e.g., Hand in Hand 2.0), monitor progress and advise management.
• Provide technical expertise on regulatory compliance for safety, health and environment.
• Implement and monitor H&S management systems in line with CCI & TCCC requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments, eliminate hazards at source, and update assessments regularly.
• Manage fire protection, fire‑fighting activities, fire drills and maintain related records.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near‑misses, prepare action plans and trend analyses.
• Collaborate with the Workplace Health Unit to assess occupational illnesses and health status.
• Develop and deliver H&S training programs for plant personnel.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Environment or Bachelor’s in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Environmental).
• Minimum NEBOSH IGC certification.
• 5–7 years of experience in occupational health and safety, preferably in an industrial setting.

Required skills

• Risk assessment and hazard control.
• Incident investigation and root‑cause analysis.
• Fire safety management and emergency response planning.
• Implementation of H&S management systems.
