About the role
The Healthcare Finance Manager will remotely oversee the financial health of MaxHealth Hospital, providing strategic financial leadership to optimise revenue and control operational costs. The role combines financial planning, budgeting, cash‑flow management and compliance with healthcare regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and present reports to senior management.
- Oversee cash‑flow management, treasury activities and banking operations.
- Manage the general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Lead the annual budgeting process and analyse variances between actual expenses and budgeted targets.
- Provide financial forecasts to support strategic expansion and equipment procurement.
- Monitor patient billing systems, takaful claims and corporate panel accounts to minimise revenue leakage.
- Review contracts with consultants and third‑party vendors, approve payments and oversee payroll processing.
- Analyse departmental and service costs (pharmacy, lab, OT, etc.) for internal decision‑making.
Required profile
- CA (Inter) / ACMA / ACCA / CPA or MBA in Finance from an HEC‑recognised university.
- 5‑8 years of progressive financial management experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare facility.
- Strong knowledge of income tax, federal and provincial sales tax, and accounting standards.
- Excellent analytical, leadership and communication abilities.
