Hospital Store Manager – Pharmacy Operations & Inventory

About the role

The Hospital Store Manager leads all aspects of pharmacy and medical consumables inventory at Al Shifa Trust Eye Hospital, ensuring compliance with WHO guidelines and health‑safety standards. The role involves cross‑departmental collaboration to anticipate demand, manage supply‑chain processes, and maintain accurate records.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day operations of hospital stores, supervising a team of five staff members.
• Implement and monitor compliance with WHO, Provincial Pharmacy Council, and GSP/GDP standards.
• Oversee inventory processes such as cycle counting, shrinkage analysis, stock auditing, and demand forecasting.
• Manage ERP systems for accurate inventory tracking, demand verification, and supply‑chain workflows.
• Conduct incident investigations related to stock discrepancies and prepare detailed reports.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to ensure timely, cost‑effective delivery of pharmaceutical and medical supplies.

Required profile

• Pharm‑D with advanced education in public health or supply‑chain management.
• Extensive experience in hospital store management, pharmacy operations, and healthcare logistics.
• Proven ability to lead a team, schedule workforce, and drive continuous improvement.
