Demand Planner – Pharmaceuticals & Diagnostics

About the role

We are seeking a data‑driven Demand & Supply Planner to manage forecasting, inventory planning, replenishment and supply availability across our pharmaceutical, diagnostic and medical device portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SKU‑level demand forecasts using historical sales, market trends, tenders and business projections.
• Prepare purchase and replenishment plans considering stock, open orders, lead times, MOQs, safety stock and reorder points.
• Monitor inventory to minimise stock‑outs, excess, slow‑moving and near‑expiry stock, ensuring FEFO compliance.
• Coordinate with international principals, procurement, logistics and cross‑functional teams to track orders, shipments and supply delays.
• Support tender planning, new product launches, promotions and generate regular forecast, inventory and exception reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Pharmacy or related field.
• 3–6 years of hands‑on experience in demand, supply or inventory planning, preferably in pharmaceutical, diagnostics or medical device distribution.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on inventory risk management.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, lookups, data analysis).
• Experience with SAP, SAP Business One or similar ERP systems.
• Knowledge of Power BI for reporting and analysis.
