Housekeeping Supervisor - Team Management & Cleaning Standards

About the role

Bahria Enclave is looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department at its Head Office in Islamabad. The supervisor manages a team of 10 people so that office areas, washrooms, corridors and common spaces meet high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. The role works within standard office hours, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage a team of 10 housekeeping staff, assigning daily duties and ensuring efficient cleaning operations.
• Inspect office areas, washrooms, corridors and other common spaces regularly to verify cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, discipline and performance, giving guidance and support where needed.
• Organize staff schedules to cover operational hours, taking leaves and absences into account.
• Ensure proper use, storage and availability of cleaning materials and equipment, keeping inventory records as needed.
• Conduct regular training on cleaning techniques, safety procedures and standards.
• Report housekeeping issues, staff shortages and equipment maintenance needs to management promptly.
• Enforce cleaning procedures and standards in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain clear communication with the team and other departments, and promote a safe working environment through occupational health and safety guidelines.

Required profile

• Minimum of two years of experience in a similar capacity.
• Keen attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management.
