HSE Officer

About the role

The HSE Officer will lead the implementation and monitoring of health, safety and environmental policies for One Network’s on‑site operations. This full‑time position ensures compliance with local regulations, protects personnel and the environment, and supports project efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive HSE plans, schedules and protocols.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies, contractors, vendors and internal teams to uphold safety standards.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly HSE reports for senior management.
• Identify hazards, conduct site inspections, audits and safety walkthroughs, and enforce corrective actions.
• Maintain detailed documentation of incidents, risk assessments, permits and compliance records.
• Create safety induction materials, toolbox talks and emergency response plans.
• Manage incident investigations, root‑cause analysis and preventive measures.
• Assist project management with HSE budgeting, resource allocation and legal compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of HSE experience, preferably in construction, manufacturing or large‑scale projects.
• Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH or OSHA are highly desirable.
• Proficiency with project management and HSE software tools (e.g., MS Projects, Primavera, Click Up) is an advantage.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and ISO 45001 standards.
• Risk assessment methodologies and hazard identification.
• Environmental management systems and sustainability practices.
• Use of HSE software tools and reporting platforms.
• Strong communication for delivering safety training and awareness programs.
