Human Resources Generalist

About the role

A US-based global financial services firm, which supports startups, entrepreneurs and small-to-medium businesses through AI-powered accounting, business intelligence, financial planning and strategic advisory, is hiring an experienced HR Generalist in Karachi. The role covers day-to-day HR operations and the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to performance reviews and policy implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage employee onboarding, confirmations, transfers, promotions and exits
• Maintain employee records and HRIS/HR software data
• Handle attendance, leave, overtime and payroll inputs
• Manage medical insurance, including enrollments, claims coordination and employee queries
• Run performance appraisal cycles through HR software, including goal setting, evaluations and performance records
• Coordinate annual increments, bonuses and performance-based salary reviews
• Support recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and disciplinary processes
• Implement HR policies and maintain compliance
• Prepare HR reports on headcount, attendance, turnover, performance, compensation and benefits

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration or a related field
• 4+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or HR Operations professional
• Hands-on experience with HRIS/HRMS and performance management systems
• Knowledge of payroll, employee benefits, medical insurance and compensation processes
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and Excel skills
• High level of confidentiality and attention to detail

The position is onsite at S.M.C.H.S., Karachi, with work days Monday to Friday and timings from 4 pm to 1 am (PKT).
