IFC Draftsman – 2D/3D Construction Drawing Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented IFC Draftsman to create and modify 2D and 3D construction drawings using Industry Foundation Classes (IFC) standards. The role works closely with architects, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure all documentation meets project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings in compliance with IFC standards.
• Review architectural and engineering drawings for IFC protocol adherence.
• Collaborate with project teams to gather necessary design information.
• Maintain an organized drawing archive for easy retrieval.
• Update and modify drawings based on feedback from project leaders or clients.
• Participate in meetings to discuss and resolve design issues.
• Stay current with IFC standards and industry best practices.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in drafting or a related field.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects in an on‑site, full‑time environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
• Solid understanding of Industry Foundation Classes (IFC) and BIM standards.
• Experience using drafting tools to produce construction documents.
