Industrial Engineer Intern

About the role

We are looking for an Industrial Engineer Intern to support process improvement and production efficiency in our packaging manufacturing facility. This internship offers hands‑on exposure to industrial engineering tools while collaborating with production and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Observe and document production workflows, material movement, and work methods on the shop floor.
• Collect and analyze operating data such as output, cycle time, downtime, waste, and labor utilization.
• Assist with time studies, process mapping, line balancing, and capacity analysis.
• Prepare clear reports, charts, and recommendations for supervisors and engineering staff.
• Follow safety, quality, and material‑handling procedures while participating in shop‑floor activities.

Required profile

• Basic understanding of industrial engineering, manufacturing processes, work measurement, and process improvement.
• Ability to collect, organize, and interpret production data accurately.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and willingness to learn on the shop floor.
• Effective written and verbal communication for concise observations and reports.
