Industry Engagement & Training Lead

About the role

GS1 Pakistan is seeking a dynamic Industry Engagement & Training Lead to promote the adoption of GS1 standards across key sectors such as FMCG, pharmaceuticals, retail, medical devices and textiles. The role involves delivering training, building relationships with industry partners and supporting organisations through their digital transformation journeys.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging training sessions, workshops and presentations on GS1 standards and supply‑chain best practices.
• Educate organisations on the implementation benefits of GS1 global standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with leading companies and institutions across multiple industries.
• Support businesses throughout their GS1 implementation, providing guidance and resolving operational challenges.
• Promote industry engagement and encourage adoption of GS1 standards to improve operational efficiency.
• Lead initiatives that contribute to supply‑chain optimisation and digital transformation.
• Develop high‑quality training materials, presentations and learning resources.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer queries and ensure successful implementation.
• Represent GS1 Pakistan at industry events, seminars, meetings and awareness programmes.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years experience in FMCG, pharmaceuticals, retail, medical devices or textiles.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation and communication skills.
• Confidence in delivering training sessions to diverse audiences.
• Ability to simplify technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.
• Strong command of English, both verbal and written.
