Internal Auditor – Real Estate & Construction

About the role

We are looking for an Internal Auditor to provide independent assurance across our real‑estate and construction portfolio. The role focuses on verifying that every rupee is accounted for, controls are effective, and risks are identified before they become losses.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute risk‑based audits covering finance, operations and project activities.
• Test controls over collections, receivables, commissions, procurement and payments.
• Validate inventory, plot records and project cost bookings against actual data.
• Investigate variances, leakages and irregularities and trace root causes.
• Review compliance with SOPs, approval matrices, tax and statutory requirements.
• Report findings to management with clear, actionable recommendations.
• Monitor remediation actions until gaps are fully closed.

Required profile

• CA (Inter/Finalist) / ACCA / ACMA / CIA or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years experience in internal audit, external audit or financial control.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls, risk assessment and audit methodology.
• Experience in real‑estate, construction or project‑based environments is a plus.
• High integrity, independence and ability to communicate findings objectively.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• ERP‑based auditing.
