Inventory Planner – eCommerce (Demand & Replenishment)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Inventory Planner to manage demand forecasting and replenishment for our eCommerce operations. You will work closely with the UK operations team, suppliers and cross‑functional partners to ensure product availability while optimizing stock levels.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inventory planning activities across multiple product categories.
• Monitor stock levels, identify shortages or excess, and recommend reorder quantities.
• Analyse sales trends, historical data and seasonality to produce accurate demand forecasts.
• Coordinate with suppliers on availability, production timelines, purchase orders and shipments.
• Maintain inventory records in ERP systems such as SAP.
• Prepare regular inventory reports and track metrics like turnover, forecast accuracy and stock coverage.
• Collaborate with eCommerce, Marketing, Sales and Product teams to anticipate demand spikes from promotions or launches.
• Identify and implement improvements to planning processes and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics or a related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in inventory or demand planning, preferably in eCommerce or retail.
• Experience handling multiple SKUs and working with international suppliers is a plus.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for analysis and reporting.
