IT Administrator (EDR, FDM, MDM)

About the role

RepairDesk is looking for a proactive and technically skilled IT Administrator to manage office IT infrastructure, company laptops, endpoint security and IT operations. The role plays an important part in strengthening internal security controls and preparing the company for SOC 2 compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage office internet, Wi-Fi, routers and network connectivity, and maintain an accurate inventory of laptops and IT assets; oversee device provisioning, configuration, maintenance and recovery, and troubleshoot issues.
• Manage company devices through FleetDM, monitor and administer CrowdStrike Falcon EDR, and ensure devices meet security requirements such as patching, encryption and antivirus protection.
• Enforce standardized onboarding and offboarding procedures, configure laptops, install software, provision access and revoke access for departing employees.
• Support SOC 2 readiness by implementing and documenting security controls, audit evidence and incident handling, and assist with assessments and remediation; support ISO 27001-aligned practices where applicable.
• Provide technical support for hardware, software, connectivity and access, and keep documentation of assets, configurations, incidents and SOPs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in IT, CS, SE, Networking, Cybersecurity or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in IT administration, systems administration or endpoint management.
• Hands-on, detail-oriented and security-conscious, able to manage IT operations independently.
• Preferred: SOC 2 Type I/II or ISO 27001 experience, relevant certifications, and MFA and IAM experience.

Required skills

• Practical knowledge of macOS and Windows device administration.
• Experience with FleetDM and CrowdStrike Falcon, or comparable MDM and EDR platforms.
• Endpoint security, patch management, device encryption, access controls and network troubleshooting.
