IT Manager – Infrastructure & Security

About the role

The Saif Group, a leading industrial and services conglomerate in Pakistan, is looking for an experienced IT Manager to lead the design, operation and security of its IT infrastructure across multiple business units. This full‑time on‑site position requires a hands‑on professional who can ensure high availability, regulatory compliance and robust incident response.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, virtualization and storage platforms.
• Configure, monitor and maintain LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, routers, switches and wireless networks.
• Manage database backup, tuning, optimization and ensure data integrity for enterprise applications.
• Oversee Microsoft Exchange and Office 365/Hybrid email environments, including archiving and compliance.
• Develop and enforce IT security policies, conduct vulnerability assessments, patch management and incident response.
• Lead IT support and infrastructure teams, coordinate projects with internal departments and external vendors.
• Prepare IT budgets, evaluate vendors and procure hardware/software assets.
• Provide staff training on security best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 7–10 years of progressive IT experience, with 3–5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Professional certifications such as MCSE, CCNA/CCNP, MCSA, ITIL, CISSP or CISM are preferred.
