IT Officer – Facility Management

About the role

The IT Officer will ensure smooth and efficient operation of all IT‑related activities at the RIZ Consulting facility in Islamabad. The role combines hands‑on technical support, server and network administration, and inventory management to meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive IT support, troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues for all users.
• Manage the on‑site data server: performance monitoring, backups, recovery, patch management and security updates.
• Administer the local area network (LAN), Wi‑Fi and bandwidth, including firewall configuration and other security measures.
• Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets, coordinate procurement and report stock levels to the Head Office.
• Deliver user training, create guides and conduct IT awareness sessions on security and data management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in IT support and server administration within a facility or office environment.
• Familiarity with network infrastructure, LAN/Wi‑Fi management and firewall implementation.
• Ability to manage IT inventory and coordinate with administrative teams.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
