IT Support Officer

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic IT Support Officer to join our production units in Sialkot. This entry‑level position is ideal for recent graduates with basic IT knowledge who want to develop their skills in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment under the guidance of senior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor firewalls, WiFi access points, LAN and WAN connectivity and help maintain 99.9% network uptime.
• Support basic VLAN, subnetting and VPN configurations; report ISP link issues and assist in failover testing.
• Perform routine checks on Windows Server (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP) and Linux servers (Ubuntu/CentOS).
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and printer issues on production terminals, barcode printers and floor PCs.
• Manage Active Directory users and permissions.
• Review basic firewall logs and assist with backup and recovery procedures for production data.
• Assist in troubleshooting ERP client issues on the production floor and coordinate with senior staff and vendors.
• Respond to basic IT tickets, maintain IT asset inventory (switches, routers, access points, printers).

Required profile

• Bachelor of Computer Science (or BSc CS / BS IT) – mandatory.
• 0–1 year of experience (internships or fresh graduates welcome).
• Willingness to learn, strong teamwork and communication skills, ability to work under supervision.

Required skills

• Understanding of TCP/IP, LAN, WiFi and basic firewall concepts.
• Basic knowledge of VLAN, subnetting and VPN.
• Windows Server administration (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP).
• Linux administration (Ubuntu/CentOS).
• Hardware, software and printer troubleshooting.
• Active Directory user management.
• Basic ERP module knowledge (inventory, production).
• Firewall log review and backup/recovery procedures.
