Judgment Enforcement Supervisor

About the role

The Enforcement Supervisor leads and is accountable for the performance of a team of Enforcers handling post‑judgment recovery at Cedar. This role oversees judgment intake, asset assessment, and the pursuit of enforcement remedies through to full liquidation, ensuring each Enforcer meets WIP, quality, and production KPIs.

Key responsibilities

• Allocate and rebalance post‑judgment account inventory across the Enforcer team to keep work‑in‑progress and pendency within target.
• Verify that judgments received are final, correctly entered, and enforceable, and resolve any escalations.
• Oversee adherence to SOPs and timelines for skip tracing, asset investigation, and liquidation through writs of execution, bank levies, wage garnishments, liens, and foreclosures.
• Manage the enforcement desk backlog, reassigning or expediting cases to meet workflow‑efficiency targets.
• Direct partner attorney offices and levying officers in pursuing enforcement remedies and resolve jurisdiction‑ or asset‑profile escalations.
• Audit tracking of judgment expiration, renewal deadlines, and domestication under UEFJA to prevent lapses in enforceability.

Required profile

• Degree in Law or a related field.
• 4–5 years of relevant experience in post‑judgment enforcement, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
• In‑depth knowledge of U.S. post‑judgment enforcement mechanisms such as writs of execution, bank levies, wage garnishments, judgment liens, and UEFJA domestication.
• Proven ability to hire, train, coach, and manage a team to meet production and quality KPIs.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills for assessing debtor assets and making data‑driven staffing decisions.
