Litigation Supervisor

About the role

The Litigation Supervisor leads a team of Litigators responsible for pre‑judgment legal collections, ensuring cases progress from filing to judgment or liquidation while meeting quality and production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Allocate and rebalance pre‑judgment account inventory to maintain work‑in‑progress and pendency within targets.
• Spot‑check account reviews, resolve escalations, and manage the LEGRVW desk backlog.
• Oversee placement of accounts with partner attorneys and monitor case progress through pleadings, motions, defaults and settlements.
• Step into client‑ and attorney‑facing discussions when Litigators cannot resolve issues, and review asset reports for accuracy.
• Audit correspondence and documentation for consistency, completeness and traceability.
• Review judgment handoff files and coordinate with the Enforcement Supervisor for seamless transition.
• Hire, train, coach Litigators and manage day‑to‑day scheduling, coverage and performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as Client Success, Legal CSR and Sales to address client challenges and maintain reference materials.

Required profile

• Relevant degree in Law or a related field.
• 4–5 years of legal operations experience in debt collection, with 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Deep knowledge of the U.S. civil procedure, pleading standards and pre‑judgment settlement practices.
• Proven ability to manage team performance against production and quality KPIs.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills in English.
