About the role
we.R.play is looking for an exceptionally skilled Junior 2D Animator with experience animating both human and non-humanoid characters. The animator must have a solid grasp of the principles of body movement, anticipation, overshoot, follow-through, squash and stretch, forward and inverse kinematics, and other aspects of 2D animation, and work well among peers who are passionate about making great games.
Key responsibilities
- Create animation for characters, creatures, bosses and other assets.
- Create animations that fit within the game's style.
- Work closely with other animators.
- Communicate with Production, Art Management and other departments.
Required profile
- Experience in game development and animating characters.
- Exceptional skills in animating the human bipedal figure and other organic forms.
- Self-driven, good communicator and a great team player.
- A passion for games is a plus.
Required skills
- Animation tools: Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Flash (or an equivalent 2D program).
- Spine.
