Junior Animator

About the role

Digitally Hatch, a full‑service digital agency, is seeking a creative Junior Animator to join its design team. You will help bring client ideas to life through motion graphics, 2D animation, and short‑form video content.

Key responsibilities

• Create 2D animations, motion graphics, and explainer videos for client projects.
• Animate logos, illustrations, social media content, and website assets.
• Develop storyboards and animatics together with designers and the creative lead.
• Edit and polish videos, adding sound, transitions, captions, and effects.
• Adapt animations for platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and web.
• Incorporate feedback and deliver revisions on time while keeping project files organised.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Multimedia, Graphic Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Illustrator.
• Working knowledge of Premiere Pro and Photoshop.
• Understanding of animation principles such as timing, spacing, and easing.
• Portfolio or showreel of motion graphics or 2D animation work.
• Good communication skills and openness to feedback.
