Junior Interior Designer with 2D/3D Drafting Skills

About the role

Signature Homes is seeking a motivated Junior Interior Designer to create compelling 2D and 3D drafts for residential and commercial projects. You will work closely with senior designers and project teams to turn client requirements into functional, aesthetically‑pleasing interior solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate on interior design concepts and layouts that meet client needs and aesthetic preferences.
• Produce accurate 2D drawings and 3D renderings using AutoCAD, SketchUp and related software.
• Apply space‑planning principles to optimise functionality and flow.
• Prepare detailed drawings and presentation materials for design proposals and client approvals.
• Research new materials, finishes, furnishings and technologies for incorporation into projects.
• Ensure designs comply with safety, accessibility and building code requirements.
• Maintain organised project documentation and files.
• Meet deadlines while managing multiple tasks and design projects.

Required profile

• At least one year of hands‑on interior design experience.
• Strong passion for design and eagerness to learn new concepts, materials and tools.
• Ability to take ownership of assigned projects and work independently under guidance.
• Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and client interaction.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in SketchUp.
• Experience with 3D rendering and 3D modeling.
• Knowledge of space planning principles.
