Junior IT Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior IT Administrator to join our team and provide reliable technical support across the organization. You will be responsible for maintaining desktop environments, ensuring network connectivity, and assisting staff with day‑to‑day IT issues.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, routers and other peripheral devices.
• Install and configure operating systems, drivers and standard software packages.
• Provide onsite and remote technical support to staff, diagnosing hardware and software problems.
• Assist in managing the local LAN, Wi‑Fi and internet connectivity.
• Ensure basic system security through antivirus updates, patch management and user access control.
• Perform routine system maintenance, backups and inventory tracking of IT equipment.
• Document incidents, resolutions and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with vendors for equipment repair, replacement or procurement.

Required profile

• Diploma in IT, Computer Science or a related field (Bachelor’s degree is a plus).
• 1–3 years of hands‑on experience in IT support or system administration.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot issues efficiently.
