Junior Support Engineer – SAP (Hybris)

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Support Engineer to provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for the SAP Commerce (Hybris) platform. The role involves troubleshooting application issues, performing first‑line resolution and ensuring smooth operation of business‑critical e‑commerce services while collaborating with senior engineers and development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and work with the Hybris type system, items.xml and ServiceLayer components (models, DAOs, converters, populators).
• Create and modify data using Impex scripts and execute FlexibleSearch queries.
• Navigate and use Hybris Backoffice and HAC for daily tasks.
• Support core commerce modules such as catalog, cart, checkout, WCMS, pricing and promotions at a functional level.
• Log, triage and resolve tickets in ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) following ITIL processes and SLA commitments.
• Follow documented run‑books and escalate issues when necessary.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in application support, preferably with SAP Commerce (Hybris) environments.
• Basic understanding of SAP Commerce architecture and platform components.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Hybris Type System, items.xml and ServiceLayer concepts.
• Proficiency in Impex scripting and FlexibleSearch queries.
• Familiarity with Hybris Backoffice and HAC.
• Functional knowledge of catalog, cart, checkout, WCMS, pricing and promotion modules.
• Experience using ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.
