Junior Video Editor

About the role

WRP is looking for a Junior Video Editor with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling through visual media. The editor will resize, localize and edit pre-existing video content, create engaging cut-downs and deliver high-quality outputs that match the company's vision.

Key responsibilities

• Edit and enhance pre-existing video content to a polished, professional standard
• Resize videos to fit different platforms while keeping quality and visual integrity
• Localize content for different audiences, including subtitles, translated text and adapted graphics
• Create concise cut-down versions of longer videos that highlight key messages
• Check consistency in branding, audio levels and overall quality
• Work with the content and marketing teams to meet project goals and specifications
• Apply client and lead feedback to refine edits
• Organize and maintain video assets and project files

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 1-2 years of video editing experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail, organization and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team, and to meet deadlines

Required skills

• Proficiency in video editing software
• Understanding of video formats, resolutions and compression
• Localization experience is a plus; motion graphics, audio editing and knowledge of digital media trends are preferred
