Knitting Quality Control Inspector (Lahore)

About the role

The Knitting Quality Control Inspector will work on‑site at our Lahore facility, inspecting knitted panels produced on flat‑bed Jacquaar knitting machines. The role ensures that every garment meets customer specifications, quality standards and regulatory requirements before it leaves the production floor.

Key responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of knitted panels, checking colour, yarn variation and overall finish.
• Stop machines when defects are detected, place the quality stop board and record findings on the rowing inspection sheet.
• Collaborate with machine operators to rectify faults, re‑inspect corrected pieces and document the outcome.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and support internal audits.
• Escalate recurring quality issues to senior quality and production personnel.
• Promote continuous‑improvement and safety practices on the shop floor.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience as a quality inspector in knitwear or sweater manufacturing.
• Secondary school education or vocational/technical training in textiles, quality or a related field; additional certifications are a plus.
• Ability to stand and move on the production floor for extended periods and follow safety guidelines.

Required skills

• Operation of flat‑bed Jacquard knitting machines.
• Use of measurement tools such as calipers and gauges.
• Execution of visual and dimensional inspections.
• Familiarity with inspection checklists and quality stop boards.
