About the role

The Faculty of Law at our Gujranwala and Islamabad campuses is recruiting qualified academics for multiple ranks, from Lecturer/Assistant Professor (entry‑level) to Associate Professor (mid‑level) and Professor (senior). Successful candidates will join a vibrant legal education community, delivering undergraduate and graduate courses and contributing to the faculty’s research and accreditation activities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver lectures, seminars and tutorials in core and elective law subjects such as Constitutional Law, Contract Law, Corporate Law, Criminal Law, Jurisprudence and International Law.
• Design and periodically revise course outlines and curricula in line with university standards.
• Set, administer and grade assignments, quizzes and examinations, ensuring fairness and timeliness.
• Supervise undergraduate final‑year projects, MS/MPhil and PhD theses, as appropriate to rank.
• Conduct and publish original research in HEC‑recognized or indexed journals.
• Participate in departmental, faculty and university committees, accreditation processes and quality‑assurance activities.
• Provide academic advising, mentorship and office‑hour support to students.
• Engage with professional bodies and industry to enhance internship and placement opportunities.

Required profile

• Relevant advanced degree in Law (typically a PhD or equivalent) for mid‑ and senior‑level positions; a Master’s degree may be acceptable for entry‑level.
• Demonstrated teaching experience at the university level, appropriate to the advertised rank.
• Evidence of scholarly publications in recognized journals, with a growing record for higher ranks.
• Ability to supervise graduate research and contribute to curriculum development.
• Commitment to academic integrity and university policies.
