Lead Backend Developer (SaaS Platform)

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Backend Developer to join our globally distributed team and build the core SaaS platform that powers a suite of enterprise applications focused on data analytics and AI risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and architect the core backend services for the platform.
• Create architecture documents, functional specifications, design documents and test plans.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end development, deployment and testing of new features.
• Write reliable, secure, performant and scalable code and conduct code reviews.
• Monitor platform performance, be on‑call for urgent issues and work with customer support to resolve incidents.
• Integrate new technologies into the cloud infrastructure.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of software development experience, including container technologies such as Docker.
• Proven experience building highly available, scalable distributed systems for the cloud.
• Strong understanding of multi‑threaded applications and microservices/REST HTTP‑2 architectures.
• Professional development experience in Go, Java, C++ or Python and solid Linux/bash scripting skills.
• Hands‑on experience with SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Elasticsearch) databases.
• Experience with performance tuning, profiling, CI tools (Jenkins) and agile methodologies.
