Lead Generation Intern

About the role

DIGILORD is looking for a Lead Generation Intern in Karachi to support its business development efforts. The internship gives hands-on experience identifying potential customers, researching target markets and helping the team build a steady pipeline of qualified prospects. It is office-based and does not require regular travel.

Key responsibilities

• Research companies and decision-makers that match target customer profiles using online sources and business databases.
• Compile, verify and maintain accurate prospect information, including company details, contacts and lead status.
• Support outbound prospecting by preparing lead lists and helping prepare personalized outreach materials.
• Track responses and follow-ups, update records in spreadsheets or a CRM, and flag qualified opportunities.
• Review lead-generation results with the team and suggest improvements to research methods and data quality.

Required profile

• Strong online research skills to find relevant companies, markets and contacts.
• Good written communication and attention to detail when organizing prospect information.
• Ability to judge whether a prospect fits the target profile and keep records consistent.
• Organized approach to research tasks, priorities and follow-up information.
• Curiosity, coachability and willingness to work collaboratively with business development colleagues.

Required skills

• Comfortable using spreadsheets to enter, sort, filter and verify lead data.
• Basic familiarity with CRM tools, or willingness to learn them quickly.
