Lead Internal Auditor

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated Lead Internal Auditor to plan and execute risk‑based audits across financial, operational, and compliance areas. You will support governance, risk management, and internal control objectives while collaborating with stakeholders to drive process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of the annual risk‑based audit plan, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Lead and conduct internal audits across finance, operations, and compliance functions, evaluating controls, risk management processes, and governance practices.
• Analyze audit findings, identify root causes, and provide practical recommendations for improvement.
• Identify opportunities to enhance business processes, operational efficiency, and internal controls.
• Stay current with emerging audit practices, regulatory developments, and industry trends.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and support to junior audit team members and contribute to talent development.

Required profile

• ACCA, ACMA, CIA, or CA qualification (part‑qualified or qualified) preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in internal audit or internal controls, preferably in manufacturing, FMCG, industrial, trading, or distribution environments.
• Prior experience leading audits and supervising team members is an advantage.
