Lecturer – Computer Science (Undergraduate)

About the role

Ignition Pro School for Entrepreneurs is seeking a dedicated Lecturer in Computer Science to deliver undergraduate courses in Lahore. You will facilitate student learning, assess performance, and support the department’s academic activities in line with institutional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, workshops, and lab sessions for undergraduate students.
• Prepare course outlines, lesson plans, assignments, quizzes, examinations and marking schemes.
• Evaluate student performance, provide timely feedback, and maintain attendance and academic records.
• Support curriculum implementation, assist in examination moderation, and participate in departmental meetings.
• Provide academic guidance, encourage student participation, and support extracurricular and professional development events.

Required profile

• MS/MPhil (minimum 18 years of education) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, Data Science, Cyber Security, IT, Computer Engineering or related fields from an HEC‑recognized university.
• Preferred: PhD candidate or scholar in a relevant discipline.
• Professional certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Cisco CCNA, Oracle, CompTIA Security+, Google Data Analytics are a plus.
• University‑level teaching experience; industry experience in software development, AI, data science, cyber security, cloud computing or IT infrastructure is desirable.
