About the role

The Ministry of Law & Justice seeks a highly qualified legal professional to serve as a Consultant (MP‑I). The role involves providing expert legal advice, supporting policy formulation, and assisting in legislative processes at the federal level.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice on constitutional, legislative, and regulatory matters.
• Draft, review, and vet laws, rules, and regulations.
• Support policy formulation and legal reforms.
• Liaise with government departments, courts, and legal bodies.
• Prepare legal opinions, briefs, and reports.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the competent authority.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in law and justice.
• Strong knowledge of Pakistani laws, the constitution, and legal procedures.
• Excellent analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle sensitive legal matters.
