Legal Expert – Remote Part‑Time (Microtasking Platforms)

About the role

We are seeking a Legal Expert to support a leading technology company that operates micro‑tasking and freelance platforms. The role is fully remote and part‑time, focusing on ensuring platform policies comply with local and international regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Review and draft terms of service, privacy policies, and user agreements for legal compliance.
• Identify and advise on legal risks related to data privacy, labor regulations, and cross‑border transactions.
• Assess intellectual property issues and mitigate related disputes.
• Provide legal support for user disputes and platform‑related inquiries.
• Monitor evolving laws affecting gig‑economy platforms and update internal guidelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contract review and drafting for digital platforms.
• Strong knowledge of data‑privacy regulations such as GDPR or CCPA.
• Familiarity with labor laws across multiple jurisdictions.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities in legal contexts.
• Ability to explain complex legal concepts to non‑legal stakeholders.
