Legal Manager

About the role

The Legal Manager will advise senior leadership on corporate, commercial, civil, labour, employment and regulatory matters, ensuring compliance and proactively mitigating risks.

Key responsibilities

• Lead litigation and dispute resolution, coordinate with external counsel and represent SSC before courts and authorities.
• Review and finalize commercial agreements, contracts, leases, tenancy arrangements and legal notices.
• Oversee trademark registration, protection and related disputes.
• Maintain legal records and provide regular updates on litigation, disputes, compliance and legal risks.
• Ensure all statutory filings with SEC are completed accurately and on time.

Required profile

• LLB with 5–8 years of relevant experience, including litigation, trademark, contract negotiation and property/tenancy disputes.
• Minimum one year of corporate exposure in a large FMCG/MNC.
• Comfortable working independently with minimal legal team support.
• Strong communication, drafting and reporting skills, able to advise senior leadership directly.
