Maintenance Engineer – Mechanical

About the role

Gatron is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to lead mechanical maintenance activities within its plant. The role focuses on ensuring reliable operations, minimizing downtime, and supporting cost‑effective production through proactive and corrective maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance in line with approved procedures and HSE standards.
• Monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot mechanical faults, and ensure timely resolution.
• Prepare and submit maintenance activity, breakdown, inspection, lubricant stock, and job schedule reports.
• Create maintenance notifications, refurbishment orders, and work orders as required.
• Coordinate with production teams to support reliable plant operations.
• Supervise assigned maintenance jobs, ensuring on‑time completion.
• Recommend repair or replacement of faulty components, equipment, or fixtures.
• Assist in planning material, labor, and services for maintenance execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of mechanical maintenance experience, preferably in a plant or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of HSE compliance and inventory management.
