About the role
The Maintenance Lead is responsible for delivering operational maintenance across the regional network of fuel service stations. The role focuses on HSSE compliance, supplier performance, and cost‑effective service delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Validate HSSE delivery for at least 70% of working time and ensure supplier compliance.
- Manage supplier accreditation, re‑accreditation and the Permit to Work (PTW) system.
- Conduct asset condition surveys and oversee bi‑weekly/monthly performance meetings.
- Plan and monitor annual spend, forecast variances and adjust budgets.
- Verify invoices, assess repair/replacement needs, and ensure quality of completed work.
- Update asset data in Maximo and respond to emergency call‑outs.
- Coordinate with the Project Management Contractor to minimise site disruption.
- Develop procurement strategy with the Supply Chain Manager and manage supplier relationships.
- Collaborate with the Centre of Excellence to share best practices.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering.
- 5+ years of facilities maintenance experience, preferably in the petroleum/fuel‑station sector.
- Strong HSSE management background.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasts and supplier performance.
