Manager – Animation (Remote)

About the role

Alt Story is looking for a detail‑obsessed, process‑driven Manager – Animation to lead motion and animation output within its agency Pods. This full‑time remote position will oversee end‑to‑end planning, creation, and delivery of animated assets for digital campaigns, brand storytelling, and multi‑channel marketing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute 2D animation, motion design, and video production across assigned client Pods.
• Develop concepts, storyboards, and narratives for brand launches and integrated campaigns.
• Translate static designs and briefs into dynamic motion while maintaining brand guidelines.
• Enforce Motion QA Gate A, maintain organized project files, and manage version control.
• Prepare, optimize, and export final assets to meet technical specs for various digital platforms.
• Contribute animation expertise to major pitches or strategic initiatives outside the core Pod.

Required profile

• Minimum 2+ years of hands‑on 2D animation and motion graphics experience in an agency or integrated marketing environment.
• Proven ability to collaborate with strategy, design, and copy teams and to mentor junior talent.
• Strong organizational skills to plan workloads, manage multi‑project timelines, and streamline remote production workflows.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Experience with Premiere Pro, Adobe Animate, and vector‑rigging plugins such as Duik or Character Animator.
