Manager Business Development

About the role

PTCL is seeking a Manager Business Development to drive market expansion and bulk sales across Pakistan. You will lead end‑to‑end deal processes, build relationships with government bodies and developers, and support the overall growth strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market surveys, identify new territories and evaluate expansion opportunities in coordination with the sales team.
• Manage the full deal cycle: from lead identification, proposal preparation, quotation, to securing MOUs with building owners.
• Maintain day‑to‑day follow‑ups with stakeholders to ensure timely deployment and onboarding of customers.
• Develop and nurture relationships with government departments, builders, and existing clients to retain and grow the customer base.
• Monitor competitor offerings, provide product promotions based on segment analysis, and support regional sales channels to meet monthly targets.

Required profile

• MBA in Sales/Marketing or equivalent degree from an HEC‑recognized university.
• Minimum 5 years of business development experience, preferably in the telecom sector.
• Proven ability to achieve bulk‑sale targets and manage complex stakeholder relationships.

Required skills

• Strong product knowledge and understanding of network layout and roadmap.
• Marketing and sales acumen with problem‑solving capabilities.
• Effective communication and service‑standard implementation skills.
