Manager Manufacturing Maintenance

About the role

The Manager Manufacturing Maintenance will lead the reliability and availability of mechanical systems used in OSD (Oral Solid Dosage) manufacturing, covering granulation, blending, compression, coating, encapsulation and material handling equipment. The role focuses on minimizing downtime, ensuring product quality and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure mechanical reliability and availability of OSD manufacturing equipment.
• Execute preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance activities.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical failures using structured troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis.
• Coordinate with Production and Quality teams for batch operations, equipment changeovers and line readiness.
• Utilize SAP PM for work order execution, breakdown reporting, preventive planning and spare‑parts tracking.
• Manage critical mechanical spares inventory, monitor consumption and support procurement.
• Analyze maintenance records to identify performance gaps and drive equipment upgrades.
• Lead technical training programs for maintenance personnel.

Required profile

• B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 7–10 years of progressive engineering experience in pharmaceutical, FMCG or continuous/process manufacturing.
• Hands‑on experience with machine installation, commissioning, FAT/SAT and start‑up support.
• Demonstrated senior‑level responsibility and ability to lead cross‑functional teams.

• SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP PM).
• Preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance methodologies.
• Root‑cause analysis and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Equipment installation, commissioning and FAT/SAT participation.
• Technical training development for maintenance teams.
