Manager SOC

About the role

The Manager SOC will lead CareCloud's Security Operations Center in Islamabad, overseeing a team that monitors, detects, and responds to security incidents across the company's technology environment. This full‑time, on‑site position requires close collaboration with IT, engineering, and compliance teams to continuously improve the security posture of a healthcare technology provider.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day SOC operations, including incident response workflows and threat analysis.
• Coordinate escalation procedures and ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory standards.
• Maintain and tune security monitoring tools such as SIEM platforms, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and log management systems.
• Produce regular security metrics reports and support audits, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and coach SOC analysts, plan shift schedules, and drive performance management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in security operations management, incident response, and threat monitoring.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and healthcare security/privacy regulations.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team coaching, performance evaluation, and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, IT or related field; relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, GIAC) are a plus.
