Manager Treasury Accounting & Regulatory Reporting

About the role

The Manager Treasury Accounting & Regulatory Reporting ensures accurate recording of all treasury transactions, monitors currency positions, and guarantees compliance with regulatory and internal limits across the Mashreq Global Network in Pakistan.

Key responsibilities

• Authorize and verify all deals in the system to reflect correct positions in the book.
• Monitor branch currency positions, FX/MM limits, and precious metal transaction limits.
• Match Forex bank deals with customer deals and reconcile exchange rates to prevent losses.
• Prepare and deliver daily and monthly MIS reports on FX proprietary P/L, interest rate swaps, margin and futures commissions, and corporate customer P&L.
• Consolidate monthly TCM income, banking returns, and large exposure analyses for senior management.
• Manage Nostro accounts, ensuring proper coverage of exchange positions and coordination with operations and branch teams.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of treasury operations, foreign exchange, and regulatory reporting.
• Experience in monitoring limits, handling GL entries, and preparing statutory reports such as IAS‑7.

Required skills

• Proficiency in treasury accounting systems and GL posting.
• Ability to generate and analyse MIS reports and regulatory statements.
