MEAL Officer (Female)

About the role

The International Rescue Committee is seeking a qualified female Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Officer to support its programmes in Pakistan. The role involves overseeing data collection, analysis and reporting to ensure programme effectiveness and compliance with IRC standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, conduct and supervise field monitoring visits, spending approximately 70% of time in the field.
• Collect, clean and analyse quantitative and qualitative data from health, protection and TVET programmes.
• Produce analytical reports, dashboards and performance indicators for senior management and donors.
• Support evaluation design and implementation, ensuring methodological rigour.
• Coordinate with programme teams to integrate monitoring findings into project improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Education, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in Monitoring and Evaluation, preferably in humanitarian health, protection or vocational education.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Urdu and Pashto is preferred.
• Ability to manage a heavy workload and meet tight deadlines.
