Mechanical Engineer – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our pharmaceutical manufacturing team. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of production equipment and utility systems in a GMP‑compliant environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain pharmaceutical production equipment and utility systems.
• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Support qualification, validation, and commissioning of new equipment.
• Troubleshoot engineering issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with production, quality assurance, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare technical reports, maintenance records, and engineering documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, HVAC systems, utilities, and pharmaceutical equipment.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
