Mechanical Engineer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join a global manufacturing leader on a contract basis. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to develop and optimise mechanical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, analyse, and test mechanical components and systems to meet project requirements.
• Create technical drawings, schematics, and documentation using CAD software.
• Perform structural, thermal, and fluid‑dynamics simulations to validate designs.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure cost‑effective production and quality control.
• Conduct failure analysis and recommend design improvements based on test results.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience with CAD tools and simulation software.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials science, and industry standards.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and regulatory requirements.
