Mechanical Engineering Specialist (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Specialist to join a leading global engineering services firm on a contract basis. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while designing and optimizing mechanical systems for production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using CAD tools.
• Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations to validate designs.
• Create detailed engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications.
• Conduct tolerance analysis and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Troubleshoot existing mechanical systems and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in mechanical design for industrial equipment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and mechanical design principles.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.

Required skills

• SolidWorks or AutoCAD (CAD software).
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools.
• Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) tools.
