Medical Officer

About the role

The Medical Officer will work full‑time on‑site at Faran Hospital, delivering direct patient care across all age groups. This role involves clinical assessment, diagnosis, and management of medical conditions in line with hospital protocols and evidence‑based practice.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including clinical assessment, diagnosis, and management of medical conditions.
• Conduct ward rounds, review investigation results, prescribe treatment, and coordinate care with consultants and other healthcare professionals.
• Document patient records accurately and participate in emergency coverage.
• Support preventive and follow‑up care, contribute to clinical audits, departmental meetings, and training activities.

Required profile

• Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with valid registration with the relevant medical council.
• Previous hospital or clinical experience, preferably in acute care or general medicine.
• Strong clinical judgment, up‑to‑date knowledge of medical guidelines, and ethical standards.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with rotating shifts and multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in medical documentation and basic use of hospital information systems.
