MIT Lecturer - Curriculum Development & Research

About the role

Riphah International University is seeking a remote MIT Lecturer to deliver high‑quality education, develop up‑to‑date curricula, and contribute to research in the department. The successful candidate will work independently while collaborating with the academic committee to maintain and enhance teaching standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver engaging lectures aligned with the department curriculum.
• Develop and regularly update course materials reflecting current trends.
• Conduct research activities that meet institutional goals.
• Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and practical work.
• Achieve annual teaching and research targets set by the Head of Department.
• Participate in departmental meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
• Provide academic advising and career guidance to students.
• Ensure compliance with university policies, assessment standards, and research ethics.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and coordinate curriculum delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of post‑MS or MPhil experience in a relevant field.
• Strong subject‑matter expertise in the MIT discipline.
• Ability to work independently without direct team management.
• Commitment to academic excellence and continuous professional development.
